India’s first regional rapid rail service NaMo Bharat (earlier name RapdiX) train started

This Friday Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the NaMo Bharat (earlier name RapdiX) train, connecting Sahibabad and Duhai Depot stations in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The flag off also marked the launch of India’s first Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) on Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor. The train will serve for whole day from 6 am to 11 pm. In reality the foundation stone of for the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor was laid by Prime Minister Modi sometime before on March 8, 2019. The aim to build this infrastructure was to connect all important parts of India and make a world class transportation system in India. Actually people around that place feels very lucky to get this type of facilities.

The NaMo Bharat train is indigenously manufactured with a designed speed potential of 180 kmph and operational speed potential of 160 kmph. This means that it will be very fast and accurate. Also Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that the semi high-speed train is fully air-conditioned, safe and comfortable. People traveling in it will feel very royal. Making this type of project shows how India is developing very fast and giving people the service they deserve. People should appreciate this development as India needs to change and make a better place in this world. Modern India is changing and people here are innovating new things for the betterment.
