Bandhan Bank crosses Rs.2 Lakh crore of total business in Q3FY23

Bandhan Bank has announced its financial results for the third quarter of the financial year 2022-23. The Bank has crossed the milestone of Rs.2 lakh crore of total business in a span of just over seven years of operations.

The Bank’s total business (deposits and advances) grew 16% year-on-year to reach Rs.2,00,070 crore as on December 31, 2022. The Bank serves 2.86 crore customers through 5,723banking outlets across 34 of the 36 states and union territories in India.

During the third quarter of the current financial year, the Bank’s deposit book grew 21% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The total deposits now stand at Rs.1,02,283 crore. The current account and savings account (CASA) ratio now stands at 36.4% of the overall deposit book. With respect to advances, the bank saw 11% growth over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The total advances are now at Rs.97,787 crores. Speaking on the results, Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, MD & CEO, said, “We have been fortunate to earn the trust of crores of Indians and we will endeavour to continue to be a partner in their journey to achieve their dreams.”
