Because it is seen, more than the budget has been spent there. The ICC will look into the whole matter. The issue will be discussed at the ICC annual meeting in Colombo on July 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the final calculation of income and expenditure for the World Cup is not yet done. For the time being, the account received by the ICC shows that the cost has not increased. ICC has lost instead of profiting. According to sources, the loss of the ICC in the American phase of the World Cup was millions of dollars. Meanwhile, competition director Chris Tetley has resigned following several complaints about the organization of the World Cup. However, before the start of the competition, this English cricket boss expressed his fear of financial loss in the American phase of the World Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An ICC official said that World Cup matches could have been organized in some other American cities. But Tetley was not willing to organize matches outside of New York. Even the pitches where the World Cup matches are held do not even have arrangements for holding warm-up matches before the start of the competition.
