Highly placed sources in the government have indicated that it is considering a complete lockdown of the city given the rising number of cases and the people\u2019s apathy towards observing COVID-19 protocols of maintaining social distance and avoiding gatherings.
Minister of state for health, Pijush Hazarika, speaking to G Plus said, \u201cWe might have to impose complete lockdown of Guwahati if people do not abide by the COVID-19 protocols and things go out of hand.
