Sunrise Pure Spices, a subsidiary of ITC Ltd., successfully concluded the ‘Sunrise Agragamini’ show, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at recognizing and promoting women entrepreneurs in Assam. The exhilarating 3-episode show held from March 8th to 10th aired on Assam’s prime channel, Pratidin,showcased the entrepreneurial brilliance of 15 exceptional women, who competed with spirit and were judged by a distinguished panel of experts.
Sunrise Pure Spices, in partnership with Assam Startup Cell and AIIDC (Assam Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation), launched the ‘Sunrise Agragamini’ campaign in December 2023. The campaign showcases the remarkable journeys of 10 women entrepreneurs in Assam, who have not only established their own businesses but also made significant contributions to their communities. The campaign also includes a startup challenge, inviting budding entrepreneurs to join the entrepreneurial journey in the region. Mr. Piyush Mishra, Business Head, Sunrise Pure Spices said, “This campaign is a celebration of women and our commitment to recognizing the vital role they can play in the business world.”
Four entrepreneurs, including Utkarsha Bora, Co-Founder of Frint.in, Aditi Gohain Phukan most talented winemakers in town, Ratimabha Adhyapak, Founder of My Bake Story, and Sephalika Seal, founder of Taant Fashion Designer, emerged victorious from a pool of entries. Each winner also won a cash prize of up to INR 1 lakh, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills and dedication to entrepreneurship.
