On May 10 heatwave will end in India except for West Rajasthan, according to IMD. “Heatwave is about to end from the entire country…..Only in West Rajasthan and Kerala heatwave alert has been issued for Thursday,” IMD scientist Soma Sen actually said. “On May 10, heatwave will only be present in West Rajasthan for which we issued yellow alert,” she added. Today weather is changing very fast and we need to prepare according with it.

On Monday The India Meteorological Department released a list of seven cities in India with the highest maximum temperature. Actually Andhra Pradesh’s Nandyal recorded the highest maximum temperature of 46C on Monday. In fact this is followed by Bolangir (44.5 C), Nizamabad (44.5 C),Karur Paramathi (43.5C), Daltonganj (43.4 C), Kota (42.9 C) and Nandigama (42.6 C). This is actually very important news as from this we can find that what type of weather India have today.

Recently IMD has released a list of cities which recorded the highest maximum temperature on Monday (April 8). Actually Nandyal witnessed the highest maximum temperature in the country at 43.5 C. After that it was followed by Ananthapuramu (42.8 C), Kadapa (42.6 C) and Kurnool (42.5 C). In fact other cities with highest maximum temperature were Solapur (42 C), Tirupati (41.7 C), Jeur (41.5 C), Nalgonda (40 C), Rentachintala (39 C). Today weather is changing a lot and for this reason many places is facing high temperature.

Meghalaya is set to experience moderate isolated rainfall

Following the gloomy and cloudy weather in the city over the past few days, the state is set to experience moderate isolated rainfall starting today and continuing for the next week. Actually Thangjalal Lhouvum, State in Charge of the Indian Meteorological Department, told The Shillong Times that following this spell of rain, the weather is expected to become dry, and will experience normal to above normal temperatures. Additionally, he also stated that the IMD would issue warnings in case of extreme weather conditions, such as hailstorms or similar situations.

The Meteorological Department has said that the amount of rain will increase in South Bengal on Thursday. The weather will change from Friday. Temperatures will increase during the weekend and rain will reduce discomfort due to humidity. The depression formed in the Bay of Bengal has moved far from the state to the Odisha and Andhra Pradesh coasts. The low pressure axis has also shifted from Gangetic West Bengal over Odisha and Chhattisgarh. As a result, there will be indirect effect of thunder and lightning rains in Bengal. The western part of the monsoon axis lies in the foothills of the Himalayas. The eastern part extends to the south.

Somewhere partly cloudy sky. Scattered light to moderate rain with thundershowers. Chances of lightning will increase. Coastal and adjoining districts of Odisha are likely to receive more rain. Scattered heavy rain will occur in South 24 Parganas and East Medinipur districts. Also, scattered heavy rains are likely in West Medinipur, Jhargram, Bankura and Purulia districts.

Temperatures will remain similar for the next few days. The lower lying districts including Maldah North and Dinajpur Dakshina will increase with temperature due to humidity discomfort. Scattered thundershowers are likely. Mostly cloudy skies with thundershowers are likely in Kolkata. Tomorrow, Thursday, the amount of rain may increase a little. The weather will change from Friday.
