Previously, Google Messages restricted RCS chats to a single number, but the latest beta version revealed dual SIM RCS support, as noted by the 9to5 Google team. According to Assemble Debug, those who successfully accessed this feature used the Samsung-specific version of the app, and the feature only surfaced after enabling specific flags.
RCS (Rich Communication Services) is a messaging protocol for enhanced text messaging. Dual SIM RCS allows RCS features to work seamlessly on smartphones with dual SIM card slots. RCS messages offer advanced features beyond traditional SMS, including read receipts, typing indicators, higher-quality media sharing, and a more dynamic, chat like experience. Standard text messages lack these features and have more limitations in terms of multimedia content and interactivity.
]]>Agarwal says the company was incorporated in April as Krutrim SI Design with teams based in Bengaluru and San Francisco.
Krutrim will debut in January with a beta version that will be able for enterprises and developers to use to create chatbots for their specific purposes. The exhibition shows that the system can switch between languages and discuss nuances ranging from poetry in Bengali to Bollywood movies, creative masala dosa recipes.
Their systems, he said, are proprietary and trained on datasets obtained from partners.
Aggarwal did not reveal the price, but said that it is a family of models and each has a certain price-performance balance. “Apart from these language models, we also have speech models. So, you can talk to AI models,” he added.
Agarwal has ambitious plans to build their own AI chip within two years. “We already have enough GPU resources. Eventually we will build our own AI supercomputer and our silicon. We are also building our own technology for the data center; making it more efficient is very important to reduce costs,” he said.

]]>An ISRO official had earlier said that the ground stations would try to revive the lander and rover and their on-board instruments on Thursday or Friday after a dawn break on the Moon and optimal sunlight. There is very little chance of revival and it is possible that even if they both wake up, they are unable to regain full functionality.
All the mission modules are solar-powered and designed to last only one lunar day or about 14 days on Earth. That time has already passed. The mission’s electronics were not designed to withstand extreme nighttime conditions on the Moon. Temperatures drop below minus 200 degrees Celsius near the lunar south pole where the lander and rover are located.
Some spacecraft are designed to survive the lunar night, such as Russia’s Luna-25, which crash-landed on the moon. The Russian Luna-25 mission carried a plutonium radioisotope device, which can be thought of as a kind of nuclear battery, to generate heat that could keep the instruments within an operating temperature. Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover have no such system.
Nevertheless, after Chandrayaan-3 accomplished its main science goals, ISRO decided to take the opportunity and try to extend the life of the lander and rover. They stop all operations of the instruments a little before lunar sunset and put them in sleep mode. This was done in the hope that if the batteries were fully charged, they would be able to keep the devices warm enough to survive the night.
]]>“Onlooker! Aditya-L1, destined for the Sun-Earth L1 point, takes a selfie and images of the Earth and the Moon,” the space agency informed in a tweet on Thursday morning.
The video posted by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) shows an image of a portion of the spacecraft captured by its onboard camera. It features the Visible Emission Line Coronagraph (VELC) which will study the solar corona, including the very inner layers not studied by other missions, and the Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (SUIT) which will study different layers of the solar atmosphere in the short UV wavelengths that cannot be detected from Earth.
The video also shows an image of the Earth’s hemisphere illuminated by sunlight, as well as a small white spot that the space agency was supposed to indicate is the Moon.
]]>According to NASA, the LRO camera achieved a diagonal view (42-degree slew angle) of the lander four days later. The plume of the bright halo rocket around the vehicle interacts with the fine granular regolith (soil).
LRO is operated by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland for the Science Mission Directorate at the agency’s headquarters in Washington.
Meanwhile, the Indian Space Research Organization on Tuesday released a three-dimensional ‘anaglyph’ image of the Chandrayaan-3 Vikram lander from the moon’s south pole.
“The anaglyph presented here is created using NavCam stereo images, which consist of both a left and right image captured onboard the Pragyan Rover,” the space agency said on X .
An anaglyph is a simple visualization of an object or terrain in three dimensions from a stereo or multi-view image.
In this post, ISRO stated, “In this 3-channel image, the left image is positioned in the red channel, while the right image is placed in the blue and green channels (creating cyan). The difference in perspective between these two images results in the stereo effect, which gives the visual impression of three dimensions. Red and cyan glasses are recommended for viewing in 3D,”.
]]>US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) astronauts Stephen Bowen and Woody Hoberg, United Arab Emirates astronaut Sultan Alneyadi and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedayev landed safely aboard the SpaceX Dragon Endeavor in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Jacksonville, Florida, at 12:17 am EDT after 186 days in space, the space agency informed.
According to NASA, crew students have contributed to hundreds of experiments and technology demonstrations, including assisting with robotic challenges, studying plant genetic adaptations in space, and monitoring human health in microgravity to prepare for exploration outside of low Earth orbit and benefiting life on Earth. Astronauts have released Saskatchewan’s first satellite that tests a new radiation detection and protection system derived from melanin, which is found in many animals, including humans.
]]>In support of his claim, Trivedi produced a fake ISRO appointment letter dated February 26, 2022 claiming to be the Assistant Chairman of ISRO’s Ancient Science Applications Division. He forged another letter in which Trivedi claimed to be a “space research member” for ISRO’s upcoming project “Mercury Power in Space”.
Speaking to reporters, Surat Additional Commissioner of Police Sharad Singhal said that a petition was submitted to the Commissioner of Police requesting an inquiry into the matter.
In an initial response, ISRO informed the crime branch that the letter was fake and no such letter had been issued by the space research agency. ISRO will submit a detailed response to the Surat police in a few days, Singhal said.
The fake letter comes in light of ISRO’s successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 at the moon’s south pole and continuing its moon mission. ISRO is also set to launch its first Sun mission Aditya-L1 this week
Earlier on August 24, a day after Chandraya-3 landed on the moon, posing as an ISRO scientist, Trivedi said in an interview to news agency PTI, “We felt like we were on the moon, it was the proudest moment.”
Singhal said, “Crime branch called Mitul Trivedi to his Chowkbazar office and interrogated him in detail yesterday. Today, it has been established and he too has admitted that the letter is fake.”
Trivedi claims to have B.Com and M.Com degrees but the police is yet to verify it. An FIR has been registered against Trivedi under sections 465, 468, 471 and 419 of the IPC.
