State Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh inaugurated the world famous Shravani Mela on 3rd of July at Baba Baidyanathdham temple in Deoghar, the inauguration was conducted with the chanting of devotional mantras by eleven priests. The Mela will last till 7th of September.

Mr Badal said that the year 2023 will celebrate 8 Mondays of Shravani mela which means this year the month of sawan will be observed for two long months.

All the necessary arrangements have been made by the concerned authorities for the Kanwariyas so that they don’t face any problem. Health camps have been set up on holding points for them.

In several parts of India a state of violence has arouse following Ram Navami. Bihar and Kolkata have witnessed a large scale violence in the state. The two districts of Bihar Nalanda and Rohtas experienced a fresh violence that broke out on Thursday and continued till Saturday night. Police has also run to the spot where clashes occurred and arrested people who were found violating the law and order.

Due to clashes vehicles, houses and shops were found damage. An announcement has been made by the government that all the government and private owned schools will remain closed till April 4 in Bihar’s Rohtas district due to violence.

Necessary actions are being taken by officials and a high level meeting was also being chaired by CM Nitish Kumar in wake of violence.

The Gaan Ngai festival is one of the major festivals of Manipur which is celebrated every time after harvesting. As per the report of, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) Delhi’s Air Quality Index on Diwali night (AQI) hit the “very bad” category with an AQI of 377 in Anand Vihar at 9 pm on Monday. It’s the first “very poor” atmosphere day of the season for the capital of India.

According to the data, pollution has increased due to the bursting of firecrackers in almost all the stations of the capital from 8 pm to 1 am. The most polluted area was in South Delhi. The most polluted stations are RK Puram, Okhla, Karni Singh Shooting Range, and Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

As well the quality of air was reported in the ‘poor to very poor’ category in Ghaziabad Faridabad (256), Greater Noida (270), (301), Noida (303), Gurugram (325) on Monday.

According to IQAir, Delhi was the world’s most polluted city on Diwali, followed by Lahore in Pakistan. However, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the city’s air quality on Diwali was still better than last three years. Earlier, the city had recorded an AQI of 382 last Diwali. Delhi recorded an AQI of 414 in 2020; 337 in 2019 and 281 in 2018.

The puja season is on and this year is going to end in two months. Then the new year begins. Meanwhile, good news for government employees. Nabanna has released a detailed list of holidays for next year. The state government is going to offer several additional holidays in 2023.

According to the notice, the 12th of January 2023 is Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, 23rd is Netaji’s birth anniversary and the 26th is the Commonwealth Day holiday. Meanwhile, Saraswati Puja is on January 26. So they will get a day off on the previous day. 14th February is a holiday for Tagore Panchanan Varma’s birthday and 7th March is a holiday on the occasion of Dola Yatra.

April 4, 7, 14, 15 and 22 are holidays. Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday, Ambedkar Jayanti, Bengali New Year and Eid-ul-Fitr respectively celebrate on this day. May Day, Buddha Purnima and Rabindranath Tagore’s birthday are holidays in May. Later, Bakri Eid, Muharram and Independence Day holidays will be the same.

On the 18th, the office was closed by the other party. October 21, and 23 is the Durga Puja holiday. After Dashami, leave again in the office till the 25th, 26th and 27th. The next day is again on the 28th, the Lakshmi Puja holiday. Sunday, November 12, Kali Puja will be given a holiday on November 13 and 14. Fraternities are off on November 15.
