According to the reports, Paschim Nalbari Circle Officer (CO) Arpana Sarmah has filed a complaint against Nalbari DC Varnali Deka for false allegations and mentally torturing her with fix intentions since January.
Arpana Sarma has claimed due to unavailability of labourers “when materials of only around seven polling stations of Tihu LAC were to be collected after 1 am, DC ma’am came and humiliated me and used slang words in front of officials. She tried to humiliate me on the ground that the trunks were still not taken to the designated places by labours.”
Further Deka claimed that the allegations were baseless and Arpana Sarma has been neglecting her election duties. Enquiry for the incident is going on, FIR will be registered accordingly, said police in-charge.
